Due to the pandemic of COVID 19 office hours might change according to patient volume and NEW access to Telehealth thru Doxy Me is available during office hours. Please note some insurers already started taking away this benefit or seriously restricting it . It depends on your policy which is your responsibility to know and understand .We need you to agree to the terms of Telehealth visits and give access to the app for the camera and microphone. Once that is done, we will send you a link and telehealth will be accessed in order of arrival to the virtual waiting room. Please have available a temperature measured by a thermometer of your choice and weight for the patient . Each patient needs a slot.
When in Office: EVERYBODY NEEDS TO HAVE A MASK AT MOST TIMES DURING PATIENT CONTACT AND WEARING IT APPROPRIATELY. WE WILL BE UPDATING AS NEEDED REGARDING THIS . WE HAVE BEEN RELAXING THIS REQUIREMENT BUT IF YOU HAVE RESPIRATORY DISEASE SYMPTOIMS , IT WILL BE REQUIRED.
We will still do Well exams/newborn visits preferably in the mornings and early afternoon but we will have open slots throughout the day. Sick visits after appropriate triaging either late mornings or afternoons.
The faster route to access our patient's families, with the latest updates will be done on our Facebook page first. SO please like us on Facebook! and show us how you are being safe by posting kid's pics practicing safety measures. We all love that.
Follow guidelines from CDC.gov and our State of Florida. Please Stay safely home if you are COVID + AND WHEN CABIN FEVER HITS: DO EXERCISE SAFELY (WALK, SAFELY SWIM, RUN, BICYCLE WEARING HELMETS OF COURSE) . WEAR MASKS they do safe lives and it is the kindest thing we all can do to protect our families and neighbors that could be more susceptible. Be kind, check on your neighbors; especially the elderly, maybe teach them how to access their electronics so they do not feel so lonely! Be Safe, be smart this too will pass but we all need to do our part. .
